& risking the death defying leap

love the smell of the pine & earthy
undertones as it
dries in the sunlight. I like walking
along a beach
that is not crowded with suntanned holiday

listen to the waves washing over my feet. I

looking out over the vast horizon wondering is
someone
else is doing the same thing at the same
moment
somewhere else in our world.I like to fool myself
that
there is no senseless slaughter of inocent animals
in
our world,no needless starvation of innocent
people
caught in a political trap of arrogant ego's. But
the
fooling doesn't last long.I like to think
that
friendship lasts a lifetime and not just in
the
sentence in which it is said.I love the simple
things
in life, I am not adept at confusing
complicated
relationships that insist on guesswork

confused
with others expectations. I believe that every
thought
is a living thing and dreams do sometimes come
